The gastrointestinal (GI) tract is the most important section of the human digestive system. This 8-meter long organ absorbs nutrients from the food you eat and it has intestinal flora that aids waste disposal, produces B complex vitamins and helps to prevent illness. If your GI tract is filled with toxins due to poor nutrition and digestion, it can cause constipation, fatigue, bad breath and a host of other negative symptoms. The following methods can be used to keep your GI tract healthy.
1. Medicinal clay
Consuming medicinal clay is an effective natural solution. It purges your gastrointestinal tract and removes cholesterol, toxins and harmful bacteria. Over the years, people have used medicinal clay to treat several ailments such as irritable bowel syndrome, bloating and heartburn.
