You can’t pay attention
One frequently encountered problem is the fact that you can’t pay attention. Even when you’re doing a rather mindless exercise, you still need a modicum of focus in order to execute it correctly. You don’t ask for help
Another reason for which your workouts might be stale and ineffective is the fact that you are not calling anyone to join you at the gym, or in the park, or on the beach, or wherever you conduct your workout routine. You might think that doing everything by yourself proves that you’re strong, but in reality there is a major downside to now having there to help you. This has a dire impact on the morale side, since no one is there to motivate you and to keep you in check when your determination is waning.

You don’t eat well
A workout routine is only half the battle. The other half is devising and following a diet which can complement and enhance your results obtained from the physical training. Without a proper diet, you cannot hope to achieve outstanding results in the gym alone. If you haven’t been eating before hitting the gym, consider a copious meal two hours before going to the gym, and a filling yet decent and healthy meal on your return. This will get the body moving and will make the most of your gym time.
You don’t sleep well
Another less known problem about working out is the fact that the body requires sleep in order to rest and grow stronger than before. Younger generations have a problem with going to bed early, and often times they stay up until the late hours of the morning. This is a major disadvantage and hindering element for your training, so considering hitting the hay a tad earlier, so that you may wake up feeling well rested.

These might be some of the causes that have been behind your lack of progress in the gym, or lack of energy, motivation and determination during your training. It’s important to have the necessary resources and only by taking care of your body will you obtain them for your training routine.
