Aerobic effort is the one that uses oxygen from outside, without affecting the body’s oxygen resources. This effort takes a long time during the workout. It leads to a decreased amount of lactic acid, the cardiovascular system works normal and heart rate changes are almost imperceptible. The workout may take several hours, and after that, you are not deeply tired. The main effects of this type of training are the oxygenation of the cells in the peripheral areas and the improvement of the cardiovascular system.
Types of aerobic exercise: spinning, running on the treadmill, swimming.
Anaerobic effort is the one that consumes the body’s oxygen reserves, at high intensity in a short amount of time. We have a large production of lactic acid, the heart rate changes singnificantly, but quickly returns to normal during recovery.
