Each finger has some points associated with at least one organ and one emotion in your body. By pressing these points for 3-5 seconds while breathing deeply you can alleviate pain and solve some health issues. Here are the main points on your palm!

1. Thumb. The tip of your thumb should be pressed everytime you feel anxious, stressed or depressed. This will also help you get rid of stomach aches, headaches or skin problems. Do it whenever you are in a stressful situation. Just breathe deeply, press it for 5 seconds, release the pressure and repeat it after a short pause. In a couple of mintues you’ll feel better.

2. Index Finger. By pressing on the tip of your index finger you can get rid of muscle pain, back pain and heartburn. You can also diminish fear and the feeling of confusion very easily. Make sure you take deep and slow breaths while pressing it and focus on your feelings.

3. Middle Finger. You can eliminate small liver problems and migrenes by pressing your middle finger. You should press it gently when you feel irascible and nervous and this little trick will certainly improve your mood in a few minutes.

4. Ring Finger. The pressure on the tip of your ring finger will improve your colon activity, your digestion and will help your respiratory system function better. People suffering from asthma should use this method to improve their lungs health.

5. Pinky Finger. This point is closely related to your heart and your small intestine. By pressing it you can also feel better when you’re worried and insecure.

Keep in mind that you should never use this method as a treatment, but only as an adjuvant. It’s highly recommended to see an acupressure specialist if you want to get the best results and make some changes in your body by using the pressure on certain points.
